Angel On A Leash teams recently participated in a shoot for an episode of Animal Planet’s “Underdog to Wonderdog.”
The crew shot footage of a therapy dog training class at the ASPCA, with instructor Michele Siegel. Michele and a number of Angel teams working with their dogs and demonstrated the Delta Society training process to show co-hosts Ryan Smith and Ali McLennan.
Barbara Babikian and Lille, David Fritz and Cassie, and Gay Cropper and Mr. Gruffyd Babayan were also part of a second shoot at the Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of NewYork-Presbyterian. The co-hosts accompanied them on in-room visits to document and get a feel for the therapy dog experience.
The episode is scheduled to air after the first of the year.
